See why our patients smile…
A great and healthy smile says so much. Not only does it convey happiness, warmth and contentment, but it’s also an indicator of a healthy body. It is with great pride that we bring over 25 years of experience to the practice to help our patients achieve and maintain their dental health.
We are committed to providing the best care possible for all patients at our dentist office. We will spend time explaining the reasons why we recommend treatments, because excellent oral health can only be achieved through cooperative efforts.
Karen Spitzer, DDS
I started my dental career as a dental hygienist, until I decided to attend dental school at the Marquette University School of Dentistry, where I graduated Cum Laude. I am a member of the American Dental Society and Wisconsin Dental Society, past president of the La Crosse District Dental Society, a member of the La Crosse Implant Study Group, and certified in the use of Lumineers.
I was a committee member for the first Missions of Mercy project in the state of Wisconsin, where we provided two days of dental care at no cost to thousands of patients in need.
I have called La Crosse home for 33 years, and raised my daughter Avri here. I am also an avid gardener and enjoy traveling, including a trip to South America, which allowed me the opportunity to treat hundreds of children and adults.

I have been with the practice since we moved into the neighborhood in 2011. I am a graduate of Western Technical College where I received an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am originally from Fountain City and moved to the La Crosse area about 10 years ago. I enjoy creating personal relationships with my patients and work to ensure the best quality of care. I enjoy being involved with planning a patient’s entire treatment plan.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my son, entertaining friends and family, and taking in the endless knowledge of everything around me! I have big hopes of traveling abroad someday.
