Elisabeth Dommer, DDS

Dr. Dommer, Meet the DoctorsDr. Elisabeth Dommer is a native of Red Wing, Minnesota who is excited to continue her family’s tradition of dentistry. She grew up seeing what a positive impact her father’s dental practice had on the community, and she is looking to do the same in her career.

Dr. Dommer graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and Concordia College. She has received comprehensive dental training, along with additional courses in aesthetic dentistry, veneers, Invisalign, and oral disease. Dr. Dommer is an active member of the Minnesota Dental Association as a past Scientific Sessions Committee member, and is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Dommer has many hobbies and interests, both indoor and outdoor. She enjoys traveling, running, hiking the bluffs, playing volleyball, watching football and baseball, reading, sculpting, crafts and music. She enjoys talking with her patients and educating them about their mouths. Dr. Dommer is very thankful for the warm welcome from the La Crosse community and is looking forward to serving her patients well.

Karen Spitzer, DDS

Dr. Karen Spitzer’s dental career began as a dental hygienist, until she decided to attend dental school at the Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Dental Society and Wisconsin Dental Society, past president of the La Crosse District Dental Society, a member of the La Crosse Implant Study Group, certified in the use of Lumineers.

Dr. Spitzer was a committee member for the first Missions of Mercy project in the state of Wisconsin, where they provided two days of dental care at no cost to thousands of patients in need.

She has called La Crosse home for 33 years, and raised her daughter Avri here. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys traveling, including a trip to South America, which allowed her the opportunity to treat hundreds of children and adults.
